How To Join Footasylum UNLCKD
Register a new account online and then download the Footasylum app. On the app, tap the padlock tab and use your Footasylum account details to sign in. That’s it, you’ve registered. You must be 16 or over and a UK resident to join.
There’s no Footasylum card, UNLCKD is an app-based rewards programme and you can shop online, in-store and in-app to earn points.
Earning Footasylum UNLCKD Points - How They're Calculated
You normally earn 1 UNLCKD Point per 20p spent but there are double point days.
Shop at Footasylum online, in-store and in-app and you’ll quality for points. There’s no minimum spend. Just make sure you’re logged in at check out.
There are a couple of exclusions. You don’t earn points on delivery costs and you don’t earn points when you buy a gift card. Although you do get points when you redeem a gift card.
Do You Earn Points on Sale Items?
Yes, you earn points on sale items and you earn them at the same rate as you would on fully priced items (5 points per £1 spent).
How To Check How Many UNLCKD Points You Have
For this, you’ll also need the app. You can’t currently check how many points you have online.

Why Are My Footasylum Points Pending?
Points pend until 28 days after any purchase you make. Footasylum say this is in case you make a return within that 28 day period. You don’t get points on returned and refunded items.
I Paid In-Store But Forgot To Scan The UNLCKD App
You can still collect points by scanning the barcode at the bottom of your Footasylum receipt but you have to add the points within 48 hours of your purchase.
How To Redeem Footasylum Points
1 Footasylum UNLCKD Point = 1 Penny in Footasylum Vouchers
Footasylum UNLCKD Points are converted into vouchers automatically after 28 days. You can redeem vouchers online, in-store at the checkout and when shopping in-app. These vouchers are non-transferable.
Since you earn 1 Point per 20p spent and that Point is worth 1p in vouchers, that means you’re getting a 5% discount on future Footasylum purchases. It’s certainly not the best discount and, if your vouchers expire, you lose that effective 5% back too.
Since you earn 10 Points per £1 spent on double point days, that means it’s effectively worth a 10% discount on future purchases.
How To Redeem Footasylum Vouchers
On Footasylum’s website, at checkout, click on the ‘Voucher’ tab and select the voucher you want to redeem. In-store just show your app at the till. You can use multiple vouchers at once so you can stack them.
You have to use the whole voucher at once. Any money leftover and not spent is lost.
Can You Spend Vouchers on Sale Items?
Yes, you can spend vouchers on sale items as well as fully priced items. You can also use vouchers when you’re making a purchase with a promo code.
What If I Return An Item I Spend A Voucher On?
You’ll get a voucher returned to you, to use again, if you return an item that you spent the original voucher on.
Do Footasylum Vouchers Expire?
Yes, once your points are converted into vouchers (28 days after purchase), you have 90 days in which to use them. If you’ve opted into marketing emails, you’ll get an email reminder before they expire.
How Do Footasylum UNLCKD Point Levels Work?
Aside from points and vouchers, you also get a few other benefits as an UNLCKD member. There are 4 UNLCKD levels: Level One, Level Two, Level Three and VIP.
The more UNLCKD points you have, the higher your level. The higher your UNLCKD level, the more benefits you have access to. Unfortunately, Footasylum don’t make it clear what some of their benefits actually mean. Luckily, having spoken to them extensively, I can now give you a complete guide to UNLCKD levels and all their benefits:

Do Footasylum Points Expire?
Yes and no. Your Footasylum points all auto-convert to vouchers after 28 days anyway so they technically expire that way. Of course, your points also count towards levels. This resets to 0 every 12 months on the anniversary of your 1st qualifying UNLCKD purchase.
Your level next year is determined by points earned this year.
How Often Are UNLCKD Double Point Promo Days?
There are no set dates to the Double Point Promo days. You’ll be emailed in advance of any promotions. Also, although FootAsylum say that you get ‘Extra Double Point Offers’ at Level 3 and VIP, they don’t say how many extra promo days you get. After speaking to multiple Footasylum employees, it’s still unclear how many extra days you get.
Delivery Benefits of Footasylum UNLCKD
You’ll notice that you get certain shipping benefits with each level. Although UNLCKD says you get ‘Free Next Day Shipping’ with Level 2, you actually only get ‘Free Next Day Shipping’ offers. With Level 3, you’ll get extra offers. It’s only at VIP level that you’ll get ‘Unlimited Premium Delivery’.
What’s ‘Unlimited Premium Delivery’? Basically, most of the time it will be ‘Next Day’, but that’s not a guarantee.

What Is FA-ULT and Is It Worth it?
FA-ULT is basically a delivery subscription costing £9.99 per year which gets you unlimited priority delivery when you order from FootAsylum online. FootAsylum say this is usually next day delivery but not always.
Is it worth it? In most cases, no (unless you’re in a rush for your order).
You get free standard delivery on all orders over £49 or free click and collect on any order. If you spend less than £49, you’d have to order more than 3x per year before it makes sense financially.
Even if you’re a big spender at FootAsylum, you’ll get extra free next day deliveries through UNLCKD anyway. With VIP, for example, you get unlimited free priority delivery.
