How Do Caffè Nero Stamps Work?
There are Red stamps and Gold stamps. You’ll earn the more common Red stamps when you buy a Barista-prepared drink (eg. coffee, iced drink, hot chocolate). You can’t earn stamps on non-Barista-prepped drinks like water and orange juice. Gold stamps are earned when you trigger a promo offer or when you use your own reusable cup.
Here’s how to start earning stamps:
Download the Caffè Nero app and sign up (Referral Bonus: Get 1 Free Drink)
Go to ‘Wallet’ and either tap ‘Link Payment Card’ or ‘Collect Stamps Only’
If you use Apple Wallet, go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Collect Stamps via Apple Wallet’ to add a digital card with QR code to your Wallet
Scan the QR code before you pay (either from the app or your Apple Wallet) or use the app to pay with your linked card.
Your stamps will be added immediately (if you don’t see them, close and reopen the app to refresh)
If you’re new to the app, you’ll also earn a bonus stamp with your first purchase.
Once you’ve earned 9 stamps, you’ll get a fully stamped card, which you can redeem for a free drink.
It’s important to note, you can only collect stamps with the Apple Wallet card, you have to use the app to redeem a fully stamped card for a free drink.
Caffè Nero Referral Code
You’ll get a free hot drink at Caffè Nero when you download the app with my referral link. You can also earn 2 free hot drinks for every person you refer that makes their first purchase using the app.
You’ll also earn a bonus stamp with your first purchase using the app.
To use your free hot drink voucher, go to ‘Wallet’ on the app, then ‘Vouchers’. The vouchers do expire and they’re only redeemable in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

How To Add Paper Stamps To The App
If you have paper Caffè Nero stamps, you can add them to the app. Just ask a Barista in store to upload your stamps to the app.
Do Caffè Nero Offer NHS/Military/Student Discounts?
There are no ongoing NHS, military or student discounts offered by Caffè Nero.
Double Stamps - Using A Reusable Cup
Normally, yes! In fact, you’ll earn a Gold stamp on top of your regular Red stamp when you use your own reusable cup at Caffè Nero. That means you can earn double stamps with each visit, reducing the time it takes to earn that 10th free drink.
Caffè Nero and Nectar Points
You can spend 350 Nectar Points on a Caffè Nero voucher (which you can use on a hot and cold drinks). Since Nectar Points are worth around 0.5p per point, that means the Caffè Nero voucher is costing you around £1.75 (350 Nectar Points).
You might be wondering if you can collect Nectar Points at Caffè Nero. The answer, unfortunately, is no. You can spend Nectar Points on Nero vouchers, but you can’t earn Nectar Points at Caffè Nero.
That doesn’t stop you from earning points using a point-or-cashback-earning credit card though. If you pay using an American Express card, like the Amex Rewards card (Referral: Boosted 6,000 Point Sign Up Bonus) for example, you’ll earn 1 Amex point per £1 spent in Caffè Nero. That’s on top of earning your stamps.

Do Caffè Nero Stamps Expire?
Caffè Nero stamps, fortunately, never expire. However, when you complete a loyalty card (earning you a free drink), that completed loyalty card expires after 18 months.
You don’t have to use your fully stamped loyalty card immediately. You can keep collecting stamps and use the fully stamped card whenever you like (within that 18 month expiry period).
