How To Join Urban Outfitters Rewards
Head to the Urban Outfitters Rewards Sign Up Page and hit ‘Join Now’ or tick the box to get rewards when you sign up for a standard Urban Outfitters online account (or you can sign up in-store). You must be a UK citizen, aged 18+ to register.
You’ll receive an email with a 10% Off code which you can use online or in-store The 10% discount expires 14 days from receipt of the email and some products are excluded (Gift Cards, Electronics, Instruments, Furniture). If you’ve lost the email, head to My Account > Your Rewards to get the code.
Is Urban Outfitters Rewards Free?
Yes, it’s is a free loyalty programme. You don’t have to pay for Urban Outfitters Rewards. There’s no membership fee for being a UO Rewards member, points-earning is free, reward redemption is free, etc.
How Does Urban Outfitters Rewards Work?
UO Rewards is a points-earning loyalty programme where you’ll get access to discounts, offers, giveaways and personal sale days. There are 3 UO Reward tiers (Member, Silver and Gold) and your tier is based on points-earned. Benefits increase with each tier.
Unlike a lot of rewards programmes, you don’t earn points per £1 spent. Instead, you earn a fixed number of points per purchase and you can boost these points by completing other activities. More on that under ‘Earning Urban Outfitters Rewards Points’.
Earning Urban Outfitters Rewards Points
You’ll receive £5 Urban Outfitters credit for every 100 points earned
Unlike a lot of point-earning loyalty programmes, you don’t earn points based on spend at Urban Outfitters. Instead, you earn a fixed number of points for completing certain activities (boosted if you’re a higher UO tier - look at ‘UO Reward Tiers’). There are 8 ways to earn UO base points:
Join UO Rewards - 75 Points
Download UO App - 50 Points (To get points, must download after joining UO Rewards)
Subscribe To Emails - 50 Points (To get points, must subscribe after joining UO Rewards)
Enable App Push Notifications - 30 Points (To get points, must enable after joining UO Rewards)
Make a Purchase - 25 Points (Purchase points are set to pending for 30 days in case you cancel or return an order)
Write Product Review - 5 Points 10x Per Month
Include Review Photo - 5 Points 10x Per Month
Enter Giveaways - 5 Points Per Giveaway
Browse UO Site or App - 1 Point 10x Per Month (Must browse on separate days)

Pro Tip For New Members: Get 10% off + £10 credit. Join UO rewards, subscribe to emails, download the app and enable push notifications. You’ll get 205 points (therefore a £10 voucher) and you can combine that with the 10% discount for new members (14 day expiry).
Can You Get UO Points On Previous Purchases?
You can’t earn points retroactively for purchases made before you became a UO Rewards member. Unless there’s ever an error with UO rewards online (where you’d have to contact Urban Outfitters Customer Service), the only situation you’ll be in where you can earn points retroactively is if you forgot to scan your app when shopping in-store.
If you forgot to scan your app to earn points in-store, you can either talk to an Urban Outfitters cashier or contact their customer service team. In either case, you’ll need your UO Rewards ID, email address and receipt.
Urban Outfitters Rewards Tiers Explained
There are 3 Urban Outfitters Rewards Tiers. Member, Silver and Gold Tier.
The higher your UO tier, the more points you’ll earn for each activity. Silver members get 20% more points than members, Gold members get 40% more points than members. You need to earn 300 points to reach Silver and 600 points to reach Gold. In the table below, you’ll see all 3 UO tiers with their benefits:

Are You Notified Once You’ve Unlocked A UO Reward?
You can be notified once you’ve unlocked a reward by email or push notification (as long as you have one of these turned on). You’ll also get another email/notification just before the reward expires.
When you reach 100 points, you automatically receive £5 credit. This expires 60 days from the date it was earned.

What’s The Anniversary Discount And Is There A Birthday Discount?
Whilst there’s no info on either an Anniversary or Birthday discount in the T&Cs, an ‘Anniversary Discount’ is specifically mentioned and birthday discounts are common. Just bear in mind that the exact discount percentage is likely to change.

Do You Need The Urban Outfitters App?
You’re not required to download the app to earn points or receive rewards but that app does make it a lot easier to earn points on in-store purchases. Plus, there are some app-exclusive offers.
Whilst you can give your UO Rewards ID and email address to track in-store purchases, it’s easier just to scan your UO Rewards App QR Code in-store:
UO Rewards App > UO Rewards Tab > Tap QR Code on Top Left > Scan In-Store
Online purchases are all tracked automatically as long as you’re signed in to your UO Rewards account when you shop online at Urban Outfitters.
Do Urban Outfitters Points or Tiers Expire?
Yes, both Urban Outfitter Points and Tiers Expire.
UO Point Expiry - Points reset to 0 each year on December 31st at 12am EST
UO Tier Expiry - Once you’ve achieved a tier, you’ll be in that tier or above until the end of the following calendar year
