What Are Moonpig Reminders?

Moonpig Reminders are the replacement to the previous Moonpig loyalty program (Rocket Rewards). Put simply, you set dates for special occasions (eg. Birthdays, Christmas, Weddings) and you get sent a reminder one week before the event.

The reminder, which will be emailed to you, includes a 20% discount (off one card not postage) which will be applied automatically if you go through the link in the reminder email.

The voucher’s valid for 7 days from the date you receive it. Just make sure you set the reminder at least 9 days before the event date.

Does The 20% Off Code Apply To The Whole Basket?

No, unfortunately it doesn't. The 20% code only applies to one card. If you’re planning on buying multiple cards (eg. for Christmas), then you have two options:

Buy Multiple Cards In One Shop - Moonpig are offering 40% off select Standard Cards and, for Christmas, 10% off when you buy 10+ Cards or 15% off when you buy 15+ (automatically applied at checkout) - In this case, you’ll only have to pay shipping once (multiple card orders can only be sent to you, not multiple recipients direct from Moonpig)
Set A Reminder For Each Recipient - You’ll get the 20% Reminder Discount off each card and you can send each card direct to the recipient.

How To Setup Moonpig Reminders

Setting up Moonpig reminders is very simple. You can setup as many as you like too.

Just head to Moonpig Reminders > Add New Reminder

Or, in the app, head to Reminders > Add a Reminder or Import From Calendar

There you set the First and Last Name of the recipient, who they are to you, the occasion and the event date. You can set up reminders for any occasion:

How Do I Change My Moonpig Reminder?

Here’s how to edit or delete a Moonpig Reminder:

Head to Moonpig Reminders > Edit > Edit or Click/Tap Delete

Or, in the app, head to Reminders > Tap on a Reminder > Edit or Delete

How Much Do Moonpig Cards Cost?

Whilst prices can vary a bit and the prices below don’t include discounts (eg. 20% Reminder Discount), in general, here are the costs of Moonpig cards of various sizes:

eCard - 99p (20% Off = 79p)
Standard Card (132 x 185mm) - £3.49
Square Card (150 x 150mm) - £3.49
Large Card (205 x 290mm) - £5.99
Large Square Card (210 x 210mm) - £5.99
Giant Card (293 x 290mm) - £9.99

Some cards offer multipack discounts (eg. 40% Off) which can be helpful for the holidays.

You might be wondering: How long does it take for a Moonpig card to come? Who delivers for Moonpig? Do Moonpig delivery on Sundays or Specific Dates? Here are all the details:

eCard - Immediate, Same Day or Specified Date at 9pm - Free
Cards - 1st Class Royal Mail (1-3 Working Days) - 76p
Cards - Royal Mail Special Delivery (Specific Date) - £6.49
Gifts - Usually Royal Mail (1-3 Working Days) - £3.49
Alcohol - Usually Royal Mail (1-3 Working Days) - £3.99
Gift Experiences - Royal Mail (Next Working Day) - £6.75
Flowers & Plants - Usually Royal Mail (Next Working Day) - £3.99 (£4+ Saturday Delivery)

Moonpig dispatch same day Monday-Friday (except Bank Holidays) as long as you order before the cutoff times below:

Cards (except Giant Cards) - By 7:30pm
Giant Cards - By 4pm
Flowers/Gift/Alcohol - By 7pm

At checkout, you select ‘Send to Me’ or ‘Send to Them’ depending on whether you want Moonpig to dispatch the item to your address or the recipient’s. The ‘Send To Them’ option is greyed out if you buy multiple cards.

Covid-19/Peak Time Delays: Moonpig expect orders to take 1-3 days longer than the delivery times above due to Covid-19. Expect longer delivery times during peak periods (eg. Christmas) too.
