The annual subscription can save you money but only if you plan on subscribing for more than 8 months of the year. With streaming services, I often recommend subscribing, watching, cancelling and then re-subscribing when you want to.
I’d create a watchlist on JustWatch (which is free) then once you’re inclined to subscribe, I’d watch everything on my list and then cancel.
When you pay, use a cashback or points-earning credit or debit card to maximise your savings.
