EXPIRED - LEGO VIP Offer - Han Solo Keychain Promo

LEGO are offering Lego VIP members a free Han Solo Keychain with all LEGO Star Wars orders over £100 from the 30th October 2020 to 8th November 2020. Here are all the details, plus, how to get 3 promo sets if you buy before November 2nd.

Han Solo Promo Keychain Details

First and foremost, to get the Han Solo keychain, you must be a LEGO VIP member. LEGO VIP is the free-to-join LEGO points program.

Once you’re a VIP member, you must spend £100 or over in the LEGO Star Wars product category in-store, over the phone or online at LEGO.com. To clarify, items outwith the Star Wars category won’t count towards the £100 minimum spend. The promo lasts from 30/10/20-08/11/20 or until stock runs out (which is more likely to happen first).

That’s not all, here are some other T&Cs.

You can’t purchase this promo set individually. You can only get 1 promo set per household. Bricks & Pieces orders aren’t valid on this promo. If you’ve bought LEGO Star Wars products before this promo started, they won’t count towards the £100 minimum spend. And finally, if you return the LEGO Star Wars products that met the £100 spend, you have to return the keychain too.

What About Delivery?

If you order from LEGO.com or over the phone, standard 2-4 business day delivery is be free (since you get free standard delivery on all orders over £50 - normally £3.95). Express delivery (1-2 business days) costs £21 no matter the price of the order.

Buy Before November 2nd To Grab 3 Promo Sets In Total

Whilst the Han Solo Keychain promo ends on November 8th, LEGO also have 2 additional promos which end on November 1st.

That means, if you spend over £100 to get the keychain before November 2nd, you’ll also satisfy the requirements to get these 2 additional sets. If you add LEGO Star Wars items totalling over £100 to your cart, you’ll actually see 4 items in your basket.

What’s the Promo Han Solo Keychain Made Of?

The Han Solo Promotional Keychain is made of metal. The keychain also comes in a commemorative box if you want to hold on to it as a collector.

Previous iterations of Han Solo in Carbonite, like the one sold in the Slave I - 20th Anniversary Edition Set (below), have been plastic.

Pro Tip: If you own the plastic version, you can use that as a keychain as it has handles, which you can hook around, at either end. You can grab a key chain ring, if you don’t have one already, off of Amazon.

How Many LEGO VIP Points Will You Get In The Process?

You normally earn 8 VIP points for every £1 spent at LEGO (LEGO’s recent double VIP point offer ended on October 20th). So, if you spend bang on £100, you’ll earn 800 VIP points. What’s that worth? Since one VIP point is worth between 0.625p and 1.2p per point, 800 points is valued between £5 and £9.60.
