What's The Best Club Lloyds LifeStyle Benefit?
/If you have a Club Lloyds current account, you can choose an annual Club Lloyds Lifestyle Benefit.Here, I’ve ranked them in terms of value. These benefits change from time-to-time and this page will be updated with any future changes.
My partner and I have being using Club Lloyds to get 12 free ODEON Luxe tickets between us every year, a fantastic saving - Andrew Young (Capital Matters Editor)
The Club Lloyds account does have a £3 per month fee. However, the fee is waived every month you pay £2,000 into the account. If your income doesn’t satisfy that requirement, you can move your savings in and out of the account each month until you’ve deposited a total of £2,000 (eg. Deposit and withdraw £1,000 2 times).
If you satisfy those requirements and the fee is waived, that means you’re getting this Lifestyle Benefit free of charge.
1. 6 ODEON Cinema Tickets
The 6 ODEON cinema tickets, which you’re given all at once, include ODEON Luxe recliner and iSense screenings.
If you’ve ever been to an ODEON Luxe screening, you’ll know that the complete package is a premium cinema experience. All ODEON Luxe seats recline and can be converted into 2-seater couches by folding up the centre arm rest. Aside from that, the seats are generally more comfortable than the competition.
Aside from the seating, iSense screenings, which use 4K projects and Dolby Atmos sound, bring the film experience to another level.
ODEON have so far converted around 25 cinemas across the UK to the ODEON Luxe brand.
What’s Included: Standard, Premier and Recliner seating at 2D, 3D (3D Glasses included) and iSense Films at most ODEONs, including ODEON Luxe Cinemas, in the UK (see exclusions below).
What’s Excluded: ODEON Luxe & Dine Islington, IMAX, Dolby, Club Seats, D-Box, VIP, ODEON Event, ODEON Kids, ODEON Silver Cinema, ODEON Newbies, ODEON Screen Unseen
2. Annual Disney+ Subscription
Taking the number 2 spot is the annual Disney+ With Ads subscription benefit valued at £59.88/year.
Watch original content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Star and more if you select the 12 month Disney+ With Ads subscription Club Lloyds benefit.
The Disney+ With Ads plan, which allows you to stream on 2 devices simultaneously in 1080p Full HD (no downloads), usually costs £4.99/month. You can’t currently upgrade your plan to Disney+ Standard or Premium so you can’t watch in 4K or access downloads.
Make sure you selection your benefit within 30 days of receiving your Club Lloyds Lifestyle Benefit selection email. The Disney+ subscription benefit expires 12 months after this date regardless of when you activate it later on.
Existing Disney+ monthly subscribers should cancel their subscription first as redeeming this benefit won’t automatically cancel an existing subscription. Current annual subscribers might consider selecting a different Club Lloyds benefit depending on how long they have left of their current Disney+ subscription.
Top Tip: Don’t need an annual subscription if you’re happy to binge watch Disney+ content a few months of the year? Consider a different Club Lloyds benefit that offers you better value.
3. 6 Vue Cinema Tickets
6 Vue Cinema Tickets come 3rd in the ranking. Whilst you get admission to any 2D or 3D screening and VIP seats are included, Vue VIP is nowhere near as premium an experience as ODEON Luxe.
With Vue VIP, you basically get a comfier seat with slightly more leg room. No reclining sofa seat, no 4K projector found in iSense screenings etc. For those reasons, Vue tickets tend to be about 1/2 to 1/3rd the price of an ODEON Luxe iSense ticket.
The only reason I’d select this over ODEON Luxe is if you don’t have an ODEON local to you.
What’s Included: Standard, VIP or XTreme Seat at 2D or 3D film screenings.
What’s Excluded: Scene, Gold, IMAX (pay the difference). Premier, Special, Alternative, Event, Over 18 Screenings, Scene Westfield.
4. Gourmet Society Plus - Annual Digital Membership
Taking the number 4 spot we have Annual Digital Membership to Gourmet Society Plus.
What do you get with Gourmet Society Plus membership? Discounts at 6,500+ big brand restaurants across the UK (including Frankie & Bennies, Bella Italia, Chiquito, Prezzo, Giraffe, Zizzi, Cafe Rouge, ASK Italian).
The discount depends on the restaurant. It’ll be one of three offers. 25% off the total bill including drinks, 50% off food or 2-for-1 meals. You also get up to 40% off cinema tickets (ODEON, Empire, Cineworld and Showcase) and up to 33% off Rakuten TV film rentals.
So what brings this one down the list? Two things. Firstly, Meerkat Meals (which you can get access to for just over £1) already grants you a similar discount (2-for-1) when eating out. And secondly, both Gourmet Society and Tastecard (which offer similar benefits) frequently offer free and £1 trials for 1-3 months.
5. Annual Magazine Subscription
Finally, last in the ranking, we have the Annual Magazine Subscription. This option comes last purely for lack of value and flexibility.
Club Lloyds offer 24 magazine subscriptions to choose from including Men’s Health, Empire, Good Housekeeping and ELLE. Put simply, if you’re not interested in any of these publications, this benefit will be of no value to you.
If you are interested in any of them, just bear in mind you can’t change your mind after the 30 day cooling off period.
Print editions can take up to 8 weeks to arrive, digital editions take up to 10 working days.

How To Select Your Club Lloyds Benefit
Once you’ve opened your Club Lloyds current account, you’ll receive an email (or letter if you didn’t provide an email address) asking you to choose your Club Lloyds benefit.
You’ll have 30 days from account opening to make your choice. After those 30 days, you can’t change the benefit.
You’ll receive an email 30 days before your 1 year anniversary asking you to choose your benefit for the following year. You must choose before your anniversary date or your previously selected benefit will rollover.
